Volunteer Safaris

A bit of everything

If you are looking for an African experience with a difference, why not sign up for a volunteer safari?

The 10-day Volunteer Safari programme, which is operated from the Cheetah Inn, offers you an outreach experience in which you will have the opportunity to assist deserving local communities, combined with safaris and adventure activities, making your trip an exciting blend of hard work and fun-filled experiences.

Go on safari . . .     Have some fun . . .
Full day safaris in Kruger Park on open vehicles, game walks with armed rangers and sunset drives are all included. You will also be transported to adventure activities such as white water rafting, high ropes courses and quad biking. During your stay you get to visit nearby attractions such as the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.

. . . while you help the local community
Volunteering takes place in schools and churches in local communities and can include building, painting, planting, teaching or other outreach activities. Not only will your involvement in these projects be of great practical value to the local people but you will also experience a truly wonderful sense of fulfilment and have some amazing memories that will stay with you long after you get back home.

Scheduled Safaris

There are two scheduled 10-day volunteer safaris every month. These depart on the 3rd day and the 17th day of every month.  So the safaris will take place from the 3rd to the 12th inclusive and the 17th to the 26th inclusive.
