THE CHEETAH INN is situated in the heart of the Limpopo Lowveld. Surrounded by Big Five Game Reserves such as Kapama, Thornybush and Timbavati, the Cheetah Inn is the nearest hotel to the Kruger National Park’s Orpen Gate, a mere 48km on tar road. Our 21 airy rooms and thatched rondawels are fully en-suite (bath, shower, basin and toilet) and are surrounded by lush gardens with beautiful indigenous bushveld trees. The Cheetah Inn main hotel has seven rooms and a suite consisting of two 2-bedded rooms. There are 13 rondawels and chalets. We thus cater for 44 guests, two to a room. All our rooms are fitted with overhead fans and insect-proof screens. A la carte meals are served in our restaurant “The Barn” and sumptious breakfasts are served in our open piazza.
For an unforgettable experience at an "under the stars" barbeque, the open-air Boma provides the ideal atmosphere with the swimming pool bar to serve your needs . Our fully stocked bar “The Hunter’s Arms” provides a relaxed setting for you to share the highlights of your day. Relax in our TV lounge and at our snooker table. Our indoor courtyard with water feature is an ideal spot to unwind . Nearby attractions include the Endangered Species Breeding Project at Kapama, the Rehabilitation Centre at Moholoholo and the water activities at Klaserie Dam ( 3 km away ) or at the Blyde Dam at Swadini.
During the heat of the day, our large sparkling swimming pool , set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountain Range, provides the ideal refuge to laze away the hours. The Cheetah Inn boasts its very own airstrip ( co-ordinates 24 29 52 South ; 31 05 14 East ) - you can be at our doorstep within an hour of Gauteng's airports. Game - viewing activities include gamedrives on Viva Safaris open Gameviewers ; Bush Walks at Marc's Lodge and Night Drives at nearby game reserves. Dawn flights on hot air balloons depart from The Cheetah Inn. Our conference centre can accommodate up to 45 delegates .
